It's been a while...
Sorry it's been awhile since i've updated this blog. I've mostly been updating my other blog. If anyone wants an invite to my private blog let me know and I will send you one.
Things have been going well this past month. I can't believe that Ahnika will be 2 months old on Sunday! She is so cute and we have a lot of fun with her. A couple of days ago she giggled in her sleep. It was so cute. I tried to record it but was too late. :(
She is growing every day and it is so great to watch her get stronger and learn new things but it's also kind of sad because it means she is growing up and won't be my newborn for much longer. She is sleeping good at night. Last night she slept from 10 to 5am. It was great. Some nights she sleeps 6 to 7 hours and some nights its 5 hours. But I trully appreciate the sleep i've been getting the last couple of weeks. Usually I wake up once or twice during the night thinking she will be waking up soon but she is sound asleep so I go back to bed. Yesterday Ahnika and I went with Nanny (my mom) to visit Tyra, Raya, and Siri, we had lunch with them and had an enjoyable mid-morning! Then we went over to Missy's house and hung out with her, Tessa, Dane, and Josh! On our way home, I stopped at Little things mean alot in American Fork and bought a beautiful Blessing dress! We are planning on blessing Ahnika in the middle of January we don't have a date set.
We had a great Thanksgiving! We spent Thanksgiving day at my parents house and had a great time making gingerbread houses, watching movies, eating, sledding and just hanging out! Saturday we went to Jeb's parent's house and watch the Christmas light parade and then had dinner with their supper club and their families! We had a fun Thanksgiving weekend!!

One Month...
Wow I can't believe it's been a month since my baby was born. Tomorrow at 8:56 pm Ahnika will be 1 month old. Time flies by when you are having fun and not much sleep! ;) We have been enjoying our time with our sweet little girl. Yes we have had many rough and sleepless nights but it's getting better and she is worth it. This past month she has had two photo shoots and the pictures turned out beautifully. At 2 weeks Jeb started feeding her at bedtime, she is doing great with taking a bottle. Which is so great, it gives Jeb some special daddy daughter time and when we want to go out on dates whoever watches her can feed her. Her umbilical cord fell off at about 2 1/2 weeks, she smiles lots and holds her head up really well during tummy time and when you hold her upright against your chest. I believe she recognizes mommy and daddy's voices, when we talk to her she will turn towards the sound of our voices. She likes when I play the piano so I am trying to play it more often. She is such a beautiful baby we still can't believe the Lord entrusted her to us. We love our little girl so much and are grateful that we are able to be her parents and pray that we can do a good job at raising her.
We are grateful for all of our family members and friends who come visit and help us. We try to express our gratitude but want to say Thank you again to our amazing family! Thank you Mom for helping me clean our house and letting me take naps and run errands when I need to!!
We love you all!

My baby!
I can't believe my baby is a week and a half old. Time sure flies by when you're having fun and learning how to be the mother of a newborn! Jeb and I sure love her to pieces and are grateful Heavenly Father entrusted her to us. She is so sweet and is a happy baby. Each day I feel better and don't hurt as bad and can do more around the house and I am starting to feel like life is normalizing (i hope that's a word). I'm sure it will take a while to feel like we have a good routine in place. I sure love my sweet little girl, it's crazy how quickly you fall in love with your child. Today she has been sleeping a lot but i've been trying to wake her up every 2 to 3 hours so that we can get into a good routine and she can eventually sleep through the night. I sure love watching Jeb with her! He is so cute with his little girl. They will be great friends when she gets older. She loves to snuggle up to him (especially since he is so warm!)
Thank you to everyone for your help and love!! We appreciate what everyone has done for us. Especially our parents!! Thanks to my mom too for all of her help this past week she sure has done alot!

Update on Ahnika!
Ahnika is the best baby ever! But i'm her mom so i may be a little biased! No but she really is a good baby. She doesn't like having her bum changed cause she doesn't like to be cold. She's been eating great and of course sleeps alot but also likes to have cuddle time and will be wide awake. I love it when I feed her and she is wide awake and looks at me!! I wonder what babies think and dream. (sorry random thought) She smiles alot and is the cutest little thing ever. Jeb and I have been having lots of fun with her. The first night home I had to wake her up twice to feed and change her, the second night was a little rough we think she got cold. :( But she really only woke up a few times. Last night was better. She woke up about every 3 hours, ate and went back to bed. We both are a little sleep deprived but are starting to get into a routine. Jeb has been a ton of help and loves his little girl! It sure is fun to watch him with her. I love snuggling her and i love how cuddly she is after she eats!! We gave her, her first bath last night. She didn't really like the bath part (as mentioned before) she hates being naked and cold. But she loved getting her hair washed and brushed!! Her hair is so pretty and soft! We are so grateful to be her parents and are so grateful that she has such a sweet spirit and is so good!
Thank you to all of our family members and friends for all of their help this past week! Everyone has been so helpful and excited for us! Thank you everyone especially our families and all of those that have brought us breakfast, lunch and dinner! We love and appreciate everyone!!
Oh and my friend Kelly made a comment on the last post asking if the "a" in Ahnika is a soft a like awesome or and. The "A" is pronounce like the "a" in awesome.

We are home!
We got home today and are so excited to have her in our lives! We named her Ahnika Rose Ingram! (You pronounce it with a soft a, ah-ni-ka) She is so precious and is doing great! We can't believe we have such a beautiful little girl in our lives! She is going to be so much fun! Thank you to everyone for your comments and especially to Jeb, my mom, dad, Jeb's parents and all of our sibilings for your love, support and help. Jeb and my Mom helped me so much during labor, the birth, and afterwards. Thank you Jeb for being there every minute to care for me and Ahnika! I really felt cared for by Jeb and mom and everyone! Our stay at the hospital was great, the nurses were very helpful and kind.
We are excited for this new experience and hope to be good parents! Hopefully we can get some sleep!
Speaking of that I am off to bed. I will write more tomorrow.

(As told by Jeb) Well it all started Monday (10/4) night at 11pm with small contractions and by midnight molly couldn’t sleep or even lie down. Molly woke me up at 2:17 a.m. Tuesday (10/5) morning saying she was in labor, she thought. We timed the contractions and they were 2-4 minutes apart and lasting 45-60 seconds. We decided to head to the hospital around 3 a.m. and got to our room about a half-hour later. They hooked Molly up to the monitors and checked her, only dilated to a 1. DAMN! The nurse said she would check back in an hour and she if Molly had progressed. Her contractions didn’t let up at all. After the hour the nurse came back to check. Still only dilated to a 1and 1/2! DOUBLE DAMN! The nurse called Dr Nance and he sent us home at 5:30 a.m. with a morphine shot to wait it out. I think it should be mandatory the husband gets one too! Longest ride home EVER!
We got home and tried to get Molly as comfortable as we could. Contractions didn’t let up at all. The morphine took the edge off but that was it. Every 2-4 minutes it would hit for 45-60 seconds. That’s hard to sleep through but somehow I managed. ;) Molly was able to nap between the contractions and through the small ones. Around 2pm Tuesday she couldn’t take it any longer. A bath didn’t help, no position was comfortable, and I couldn’t sleep any more. So we decided to go back to the hospital. We made a firm resolution that we weren’t going to let them send us home again! And they didn’t! They re-admitted us around 3:30 p.m. and Molly was at a 3/3+. That was great news! They hooked her back up to the monitors and made a call for an epidural. Once the epidural was in it was smooth sailing for Molly. The baby on the other hand couldn’t decide how fast she wanted her heart to beat. It would race then slow to scary slowness (is that a word?). There were tubes and monitors and needles and all sorts of things coming out of and going into my wife.
Her labor was “text book” as per her nurses. Her dilation followed schedule and the Dr called, yes he called, around 8p.m. She was fully dilated and the baby was headed out. He arrived around 8:30 p.m. and the pushing began! After 15 minutes of pushing and some pulling from the Dr, our little slimy beautiful daughter was born. The Dr worked quick and had her crying only seconds after she came out. The only time her crying will bring relief I’m sure. He clamped off the cord and handed me the scissors. I had planned on using my pocket knife but I was lost in the moment. I was officially a daddy! The Dr handed her off and went back to work on my beautiful wife, who was and has been so strong through the whole thing. The nurses cleaned her up and started to do whatever they do. I was just watching and taking pictures. Her breathing was labored and that was a concern to nurses and Dr. They cleaned her up so she could get some skin on skin with mom and hopefully regulate her breathing and calm her down. Her breathing regulated and she was just fine. Grandparents were introduced and after a short time with mom it was time for her first bath, after dad got to hold her for the first time.
The exam and bath went fine. They checked her. They cleaned her. I watched. Then it was off to see mom and chill for the night. Night wasn’t chill though. Molly was in terrible pain and couldn’t sleep, some staff member would come in to check this or monitor that, baby needed to be fed, and when Molly had to potty, it was a stage production requiring all members of the cast and crew. Molly survived the night and is doing great. Baby is great as well. I’m sure Molly will update this when she can.
Final stats:
22hours of labor
8lbs 12oz
21”
Thick head of black hair
Perfect in every way
Name pending (not open to suggestions, emphasis on the NOT part ;) but seriously)
-Jeb
O2 to help baby regulate heart rate
Just after she came out and kinda cleaned up
Every girl loves getting her hair washed
Just after the bath and looking around
Her first look at mom

Last Saturday we had a very fun, eventful and long day!! In the morning we woke up and headed down to Manti which is about an hour and a half from our house so we left about 6:45 am. It was really early. Friday night we hung out with our friends at our usual neighborhood firepit, which is really fun, we start at 9:30pm and go til about midnight. I was planning on going to bed much earlier since we had to wake up so early. But I didn't. Anyway so we got down to Manti around 8:20 and headed in to the Temple for Chet and Hailee's sealing. I sure made all of the workers real worried. They kept asking if I was ok and if I would be alright going up and down the stairs. When we got to the waiting room the sealer came in and asked when i was due and how I was feeling and said they have doctors there just in case. I said I was fine and not to worry. When we got into the sealing room we sat by Hailee's brother and sister in-law (she is also pregnant) and the sealer looked at us and was like oh my goodness it's maternity row. It was funny. The sealing was beautiful, we were glad we were able to go! After the sealing we took some family pictures and then headed to fountain green for a luncheon. It was at the same place they got married. After lunch we headed to Jeb's parents house and took a little rest then his mom and I went over to Robyn's house where they were throwing me a baby shower!!
It was a great shower! They had awesome desserts and lots of people came. It was an open house style shower so as people came I would open presents and then everyone would sit around and chat for a bit.
I didn't get a ton of pictures with my camera but Colleen took alot with her camera.
It was a really fun day but I sure was exhausted after all the excitement was over.

Guessing time!!
Well I am now 38 weeks and a few days! I thought it would be fun if everyone made a guess when she will be born!
My due date is 10-10-10 but my first due date was 10-02-10 so I could go anytime really. ;) We are hoping she comes Friday! My mom and sisters usually went 4 or 5 days early so we are hoping I follow suit.
What's your guess?? Please make a comment with your guess of the day she'll be born, time, and how much she'll weigh, and after she is born I will post who was the closest!

Hello...
Hello all, it's been awhile since my last post! Sorry! Well last week we had our 37 week appointment and the doctor said I was 50% efaced and 0% dialated. So no baby yet but the due date is still 2 weeks away. Friday the 17th was my last day of work. I may or may not go back but I have 16 weeks to decide so we'll see.
This week I have been cleaning the house and getting the baby's room organized (Jeb has been helping me organized things too) and washing her clothes and ours as well. Monday I went to my parents house and canned peaches with my Mom. I just peeled, cut, and put the peaches in the bottles. My mom did the rest! Thanks mom it was fun! And I'm excited to have all these canned peaches, they'll make great baby food and grown up food! I remember helping my mom can when I was younger but this was the first time i've canned since i've been married! It was fun to be reminded of what to do. I'm grateful for my mom and for her knowledge!
Oh and last thursday my wonderful neighbors/friends gave me a baby shower! It was for me, Kira, and Savannah. Kira and I are due a day apart, she is having a boy, Savannah had her baby boy a few weeks ago. We had lots of fun chatting and eating the great treats Stephanie and Melanie made!

New car and Onion Days!!
We bought a new car about a week and a half ago! We bought a silver PT Cruiser! It's been a great car so far and is pretty roomy inside! We put the carseat in it last night to see how it fit and it fits great!! Over Labor day weekend we went to Onion days down in Payson! Monday was the big parade, we sat in front of Karen's Calligraphy store, My parents were there, Missy, Kip and their kids came and we invited our neighbors The Horchem's. During the parade my good friend Dari and her family walked by and stopped to talk to us for awhile! It was great to see them and chat! After the parade we walked up to the park and checked out the booths and we bought a cute little onsie with a skirt sewn on to it! We then went up to my parent's house for a bbq and to hang out for awhile. The food was great as always!
Last Sunday the 29th I believe, we went to Jeb's parents house. We went down for Chet's (Jeb's brother) ordination to the Melchizedek priesthood! We are proud of him. Chet and Hailee are going to the temple to be sealed Sept. 25th!! Congratulations to them!! After the ordination we went to Jeb's parent's house for dinner. It was really good!

Baby's Room cont.!
We finished the baby's room!! It's so cute we love it! All we need to do know is get a mattress and dust! Don't the dots and circles look so cute!! I think it turned out great! (which is good cause Jeb would kill me if I made him take them down and repaint the wall ;) I can't believe we have 5 weeks left. It really feels like time has flown by. I am glad it's starting to cool down! I love fall and winter!

34 Weeks!
Today we had another doctor's appointment! I am 34 weeks and he said everything looks good! I am measuring correctly which is good. I was worried I was measuring really big but he said i'm measuring right on. She has the hiccups at least once a day and the doctor said that is actually good. He said that babies that get the hiccups are healthy. So hopefully he is right! We want a healthy little girl!!
My shirt says "Baby makes the belly go round" I love it!!
Park City with my sisters and mom!!!!
Last weekend my mom, sisters and I went up to Park City for a weekend getaway!! It was a lot of fun! We met at Missy's house around 9:30 on friday, we went and had pedicures done!! It was so nice!! I really enjoyed it! After our pedicures we went up to Park City had lunch at Wendy's and then we went over to the Tanger outlets and went shopping! Then we went an checked into our condo. We stayed at crestview right by the outlets. For dinner we went to Ruby Tuesday! It was good! Our waiter was funny he asked if we were all from the same sorority. We just laughed and said we were all sisters, a sister in-law and our mom!! He flirted with Marcie a bit and we all made her leave her number!! We stayed up playing cranium and talking about embarrassing moments and other stuff! They let Missy and I have the king size bed since we are the pregnant ones and are heaters! Saturday we slept in and got ready and went and checked out. We went shopping for a few more hours and then went to cafe rio's for lunch! We drove over to Kamas to see the grocery store and the new additions that they have been making. It looks awesome! Good job Dad. After we looked around the store and the strip mall that they added we drove around and looked at this house that was in the home show. It was really big, Michele and Mom went in to look around the rest of us were tired and stayed in the car. Then we headed home. We had an enjoyable weekend. It was fun to hang out with my sisters and mom!!
